After so many years re listened, its a bit prog, evolution but keep BM roots there, imagine Enslaved would do it, but I once said something like this about Enslaved in some other album

The first 3 songs are pretty good then after that the album gets really fucking good. This is some of my favorite writing from Fortíð. The faster black metal parts are alright but I prefer the slower chill atmospheric parts a lot more because they paint such hypnotic pictures. Standout tracks for me were Viska, 9, and Rúnir.
