A significant problem for any band attempting to release a fresh batch of material after having imprinted their own indelible stamp to their sound is the risk of falling into a redundant slump. You know the story, successful band releases new album, this album is simply more of the same which gives you nothing over previous work and this album falls into obscurity. This may, I fear, be the case for Falconer's latest effort.

Roller coaster downtown? Lucky! All we have downtown is homeless people, mexican hookers, and trash blowing everywhere when it's windy. Maybe I can listen to Armod while riding some homeless dude to fully capture that roller coaster effect. Better bring a dongbag.

I knew this album wouldn't be as good due to the fact it's in Swedish. I feel the bands songs in swedish aren't as good as their english ones (even in previous albums). Pretty unfortunate considering how good of a singer Mathias is.

I did however love the use of Violin in this album, very nice change. Overall, this album isn't a Northwind or Falconer but it's still pretty good.

Hmmm not sure about this one....was super excited as I love their previous album and especially "falconer". But this one doesnt seem to have quite enough really good songs. And the Swedish songs generally seem somewhat weaker than the English ones.

If you wanna "support the band" just buy a t-shirt or something... the amount these guys will actually get per album is fuckin pathetic, they get more from merchandise and show tickets than royalties. That's what I do. I download the music, and then if they suck, I delete it, and if they're good, I go and buy merch from a source I know is as close to directly-from-the-band as possible. Depending on the band you can sometimes buy right from the guys. I got a couple Jag Panzer shirts right from Mark Briody, so I knew he got the money directly, and not through some ripoff third party.

Nice to see more and more bands releasing albums in their native language.

In overall this is very good album. Sometimes it sounds like their best (in My opinion Nortwind) but something is missing on Armod. Don't know is it kind of wildness which is covered by smoothness, really don't know. Nice but not the best. I like to listen to songs, but rather they are not sitting in my mind when driving the car

Maybe it's just that I love Swedish but I enjoyed this album a lot which hasn't happened with me since the first two Falconer albums.
