A year has passed since the debut-album of Sinergy. Everything seems so calm, peaceful and damn good. Suddenly we can hear the strong and crazy voice of Kimberly screaming ... "the bitch is back!" - and everything gets even better. A crazy idea, yet so catching and for some reason it gives a positive feeling about the album. With interest I start listening.

With the Demoness we start a ride to Hell.. but do we come back, as the album title says. We will find out. The album starts with a really powerful and angry track - "The Bitch is Back". It's actually presenting the whole album pretty well, fast riffs and intense drums, simple yet catching solos, awesome vocals and deadly lyrics. With the same mood and power we move on to witness the deeds of the Demoness. The songs shoot into the listeners like silver bullets. And behind these dark and grim lyrics one could find rather truthful topics and ideas.

And suddenly the Demoness lets us know, that She's just a human being fragile and tender, unstable in some aspects. Longing. It feels like the wrath was released with the beginning of the album and for 5 and a half minutes She calms down showing us Her desires and dying hopes. But with these dying hopes She unlocks the gates to Her demon side, She's back up, She's dark and angry, She's here to take what belongs to her, as they tell us in "Gallowmere". But still that's not everything. She goes vigorously on, unstoppable thanks to Her magic and beauty. The next tracks continue with the familiar power and enjoyable speed making the Hell as Metal as it gets. And it gets!

And then, the ending track "Hanging on the Telephone", Back with the human desires, but even more, back with the teenage human desires. I'm not saying the song is bad, I just don't understand yet, how it fits into this album. But the more I listen to it, the more I have the feeling, that this sharp and totally different ending is meant so. Leaves me thinking... did we now get back from the Hell.. or not?

very fair review.. ''The bitch is back'' really represents the power of the album, one of my fav songs. Liked the solo in ''Midnight Madness'' and the sentimental ''Laid to rest''.
Gallowmere has a very nice riff and constant rythm, very well structured... the problems of this album begin with the 6th track, where everything is practically repeated (despite the good vocals and lyrics), and that weird last song.. i'd rate it a 7.5, turns out pretty descent

This album is extremely enjoyable but nothing unspectacular. I think the review and the rating are pretty fair!

Although some tracks are pretty boring we have some that are just awesome (specially the opener) totally worth a listen

Oh, memories! Sinergy was my favourite band for SO long

Though this is their weakest album it's still a very fun listen and has some classic on it such as Gallowmere, The Bitch is Back, and Lead Us To War. Oh I wish they were still around so I could rock out to these songs live!

Good album, although Beware The Heavens is better. Return To The Fourth World is my favourite song, and I love Marco in Lead Us To War, wish he had sung in more songs
