Ok, so even if you weren't aware of him before, you've probably seen at least 1 or 2 of his covers floating around. Not only is he the guitarist for Baroness, but he also does album artwork for pretty much every metal band in existence these days. Not only is his artwork incredibly detailed, it's also very unique, you can identify it as John Baizley immediately. So which one is your favourite?

I know there's also quite a few EP's, splits and other album covers hes done, but there doesn't seem to be a definitive list anywhere, so my list is almost definitely incomplete.

As for my pick? It was a choice between 16 or Skeletonwitch. As much as I love how detailed his work is, there's something about the colours & simplicity of Bridges To Burn that really catches me. So my pick goes to 16.

I Have to go for the Blue Record: the firs time I saw this artwork, I wanted to buy it even though I had no idea what it sounded like!

"Beyond The Permafrost" is a great album cover! xD But my choice is "Bridges To Burn". Not only does it look awesome, its got a very oriental style about it as well. Great artwork. <3

Kvelertak's new cover, and album is sick as FUCK. Highly Recommended!
Kylesa was one of my top albums last year.

Bridges to Burn and Deliver Us are both great, but I have to go with the Blue Record. I just love that cover and album.
He really has talent, all of them are awesome.

I'm not too big on John because I don't really like the pastel colors he uses, but I voted for Kvetelkeralkjgak because that owl is fucking creepy and more brutal than chunky afterbirth soup. Hate the band though

I don't know why but I like the Skeletonwitch cover the most.

I agree to some extent. I like the artwork itself, and don't mind seeing so much of it, but a lot of does seem to follow the same formula: flowers, voluptuous naked women etc. Which is why Beyond The Permafrost and Bridges To Burn stuck out the most to me.

As far as the albums go Skeletonwitch is definitely my favourite...Can't get enough of their music. Something about that album cover looks so...Canadian to me...Should have been used for a 3 Inches album cover or something.

Ohh this is a tough one, I love all his work.
Though you might have to remove 16's album from the list as its not him. You can make out a John Dyer when you see it and 16 was done by Florian( who has some amazing work as well)
If i had to choose i would say Red album, coz thats the first album i checked out of baroness and thats when i saw his art for the first time and i have been a fan ever since.
By the way if you guys like the use of women in art you should definitely check out the guys from Ufomammut who run this shop called malleus. Amazing artwork.
