Heidenfest - Line-Up And Tour Dates Announced

Attention to all European heathen warriors! In these fateful moments, a new horde of warlike and spiritual pagans is rising to pass Northern history, pre-Christian mysticism and epochal heroism in autumn 2011 in review. United under the auspicious banner Heidenfest, martial bandsmen fasten their longships and rushing forward to Central Europe from the highest North.

On board there's once more a gigantic line-up of the finest pagan and folk metallers: Finntroll, Turisas, Alestorm, Arkona, Trollfest, Skálmöld and with special guests Wintersun (+ one more special guest to be announced) on some extended shows.

Get ready for a new, epic battle and prepare for long nights of partying and drinking, because when this guild attacks, nothing remains than before. Horns up and rise the swords, when the art of pagan music appears in a glorious light!

A Rock The Nation tour without Korpiklaani, Eluveitie or Varg? How unexpected.

I'm unimpressed by all these pagan metal tours. for a few years now they always feature the same bands every time, in rotation: korpiklaani, finntroll, alestorm, varg, turisas, eluveitie, arkona, etc and they visit the exact same places every time.

Totally agree. It must be quite boring to see the same bands over and over again. Seems like folk metal has become popular over the latest years. And why can't they come with this package to Scandinavia? You forgot to mention Ensiferum too.
