Saw It Follows a few days back. It's a horror movie that actually made me feel scared. It gives you a sense of dread, which is something that very few horror movies these days achieve. It doesn't rely on jump scares at all; in fact, there were many moments that any other director would have probably made into a cheap scare, but this guy made those moments all the more memorable by doing other stuff with it like slowing it down, zooming in, slowing down the music (so that it sounds completely unnatural; it was fascinating,) etc. The setting of the film was quite interesting as well in that it felt very retro (partly because of the soundtrack as well,) while at the same time modern and maybe even slightly futuristic.
I can't really say much more (or anything about the plot at all for that matter) without spoiling it, but I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cool retro horror film that's not about startling you with cheap scares.

Last samurai - Nice film, I dunno if its made in japan, but its not traditional Hollywood samurai films, its more about philosophy and more less life in japan when samurai era became to end. Well west, japan emperor, and so on, from samuray in 40 years to invaders, horrible loss after war much more as whole Europe loss and paid in WWII and from modern and our alie country, even movie don't shows it but basically when samurais died, japan became like it. Good movie

To be honest, I don't think that one was a spoiler. It was a description of what the film is about, or its theme.

Saw Citizen Kane. Spoiler: Kane dies. It's not really the greatest film ever, nor did I expect it to be. The problem, I guess, is that as a viewer I did not really care about understanding Kane and what "rosebud" may have meant (to him/period). And when I found out, it was a big moment of whatever. It was entertaining, though, nice structure, some great performances, and a few very powerful, character-defining scenes (like the jigzaw puzzle conversation in the castle and the opera performance).

To be honest, I feel that cinema as a medium has matured and grown more versatile as its grown older.

I agree , because according to Troy he didn't mind, and besides if there are no other way to describe movie and seems anti spolierists are 2 cynic and other guy IMO Romania or someone alse ... and I don't think cynic ever watch movies maybe once per week , same time I can post it in pub as 100% spoiler and besides wiki and trailers are avalible, imdb, there are more and I always watch trailer otherwise I never pick movie I need see about what it is ...

Terminator --- in end he was crushed under that tool (spoiler)
