And there's at least one band that's worth listening for all metalheads (true or not): Darknation. Heavy/Thrash with French lyrics.

who are Emil Bulls

A German alternative/nu metal band. They had their heydey some five years ago with the album "Angel Delivery Service" and the singles "Smells Like Rock N' Roll" and "Leaving You With This" (you might want to check them out on Youtube) and apparently they've recently released a new album. I myself had lost my interest in them after every kid started listening to them when they were in the charts with their cover of A-HA's "Take On Me".
