some people just can't recognize quality even when it his em in the face .. btw just purchased it, and I love it!!

Right? I've probably listened to it over 100 times since I first discovered it. Such a beautiful way to close out an album.

I knew that meaning and its application. It is just that I've also seen the other meaning that I used before. Maybe it's a common mistake in English?

It's a very common mistake, even by native English speakers. As soon as you have an opinion on something, even if you are on the fence about it I don't believe you can be disinterested. There's a whole load of debates on it on Google.

Agreed 100%. DSBM doesn't have too many impressive releases to offer (at least from what I've heard), and this one really encapsulates everything a release of this style should be. The raw production mixed with hideous yet enchanting vocals creates a truly depressing atmosphere for me that I actually find incredibly comforting/relatable when I'm feeling down. My go-to album for a shitty day

This is hands down one of the best Depressive Black Metal-Albums of all time and that comes from someone who praises quite a few bands of that style. The vocals on this are so incredibly miserable. And the synths combined with the great guitar work are just so damn majestic.

There's better stuff than this

Burzum in depressive elements.

Anyone has any clue where can I get their t-shirts? I have looked up their merch bandcamp and some other platforms there wasn't any.

Could try northern silence as that's who re- released this albums vinyl, but I I'd say it'd be pretty hard to find one as they havent been active for a really long time.

I'm not just "uninterested" in DSBM, I hate it, and I was hoping it would change with this album, it didn't.
I mean you have these beautiful melodies and you ruin them with awful production and even more awful vocals on purpose, why?
at least Burzum is bearable.
I have nothing against people who actually do like this kind of metal, but this album is the single most overrated album that I have ever came across in MS. at least the cover art is very beautiful. I will come back to this later.

but I'm going to try it some other time, because there are some elements that I actually enjoy. but right now it isn't for me.

it's so high rated too, so many 9s and 10s. really misleading.

From beautiful acoustic passages to epic solo's and haunting riffs, and from grim, dark, and miserable soundscapes to emotionally charged wailing and screams of agonising despair, this is dsbm at it's finest!

The only downside is the fact it's not an album I can listen to anytime anywhere, it needs to hit me at the exact right moment, such as on a dark and miserable cloudy, rainy day, it doesn’t seem to have the same effect on a scorching hot summers day with blue sky really.

Hopeless

This album is desperate enough that it can bottom out, so it can give me hope at certain points.

I regret giving this a 6 initially, I like this a lot more now
