An album that seems to party like its 1990, 'Engineering the Dead' contains the best bits of Classic Death Metal, mixes in modern techniques, and ultimately never lets up on the brutality for one single second. What also helps to make this the absolute beast it is is the excessive use of dialogue from some of the world's most renowned horror films, including the very scientifically disturbing 'Re-animator'. The second half may get a bit tiresome at times, but the music here is generally very well executed. The vocals aren't quite to my taste, but they certainly do have about the same ferocity as the music itself.

Pretty good. All songs on consistent with not much variety which is expected from this era of Death Metal.

Overall, pretty enjoyable.
