1. Conception - Parallel Minds
2. Satyricon - Dark Medieval Times
3. Darkthrone - Under A Funeral Moon
4. Immortal - Pure Holocaust
5. Angra - Angels Cry
6. My Dying Bride - Turn Loose The Swans
7. Rotting Christ - Thy Mighty Contract
8. Katatonia - Dance Of December Souls
9. Dissection - The Somberlain
10. Death - Individual Thought Patterns
11. Ulver - Vargnatt
Better than most of these albums. But, being a demo, it can't officially make the list.
12. Mayhem - Live In Leipzig
Best and most consistent Mayhem release IMO. Again, while technically better than most of the albums here, a live bootleg cannot officially make the list.
13. Emperor - Emperor
One of the best EP's ever made. But because of the EP status, it can't make the list.
14. Mortiis - The Song Of A Long Forgotten Ghost
Excellent demo. One song running 59 minutes. Beautiful and haunting shit. Not part of the list due to the demo status.
