Attention progheads, Haken have announced the title of their new and third album and it is: The Mountain. You can expect the new opus to hit stores on September 2nd through their new label InsideOut Music. There is still a lot of waiting around to do, but hopefully we will get to hear new material soon. The band also posted an image on their Facebook page but didn't really reveal if it would be the album cover or not.

Richard Henshall (guitar/keyboards) and Charlie Griffiths (guitar) had this to say about the successor to Visions: "Lyrically, we've done a lot of soul searching which has given the album an emotional depth that we're sure listeners will really relate to, whatever personal mountain they are climbing. Musically, the new songs feel rawer and more emotional than anything we've created in the past. All the essential elements of our sound are still there, but have been delivered in a more gritty and focused style."
