This record is a real jewel and for sure one of the most overlooked albums in all metal history.
Expressive guitar melodies, awesome harmonies, amazing rhythm section (predecessor of early Iron Maiden ) ... excellent prog heavy metal !!

P.S. - Compare the vocal lines: 'Full Speed At High Level' <------> 'Skin o' My Teeth' ( Megadeth' 92 )

Old school heavy metal, maybe even too old from the sound of it. An interesting sounding album I must say, but I don't see myself listening to this album again (I've heard it twice in past 5 years and it seems kinda dull now on 2nd try). "Storm" as I see it is absolute highlight here, a great epic song, and "Moonlight Spell" it pretty good too.

The vocals ruined this record for me a little. It's not awful, but not too good either, and set louder than it should in a mix. We definitely had much better Metal albums from 1978 (Long Live Rock 'N' Roll, Killing Machine (Hell Bent For Leather), Stained Class) but this one is still a curious and entertaining piece of Metal history!
