Nergal - Shares Snippets From Solo Project
Recently, Behemoth's guitarist/vocalist Adam "Nergal" Darski revealed that he was working on a solo project which he described as "very stripped down and simple. The most primitive, acoustic-based stuff." The frontman has now shared some clips on his Instagram page of music he appears to be working on. Judging by the teases, it is quite different from Behemoth, as he had revealed. You can check out these small snippets here and here.
Nergal is also busy promoting his autobiography Confessions Of A Heretic and there will be a press conference and meet & greet in London today and in Oslo on April 3rd.

Sounds better as Behemoth, this acoustic music really is better Behemoth is some kind hybrid between DM and BM, don't belong in non family , pity ppl overate it , this looks promssining

Well, I was actually hoping for an interesting alternative to Behemoth with this solo stuff, and instead Nergal decides to go and create some King Dude knockoff. ....actually, I'm sorry, that was an insult to King Dude.

Written by LasseMomme on 30.03.2015 at 16:46 Nothing special, but wont judge after two 5 sec tracks cos it's pointless and as for Behemoth they are one of the best bands in the world and U can denial ( 3x times best album of the year and 1x in top 20 on Metal Storm ) = pity that someone who doesn't know much about the band is writing a post ohh and that 'non family hybrid' thing is called Blackened Death metal.

And to all the MF's who think it's good/awesome.. you're all a bunch of suck-ups. There's already enough crappy music EXACTLY like the that.

Quite interested if it turns out to be some kind of dark/neo folk stuff, would enjoy it much more than the boring stuff Behemoth have been doing the last couple of years.

How can some of you strange people here judge by two ten-second clips? Do you realize that they're not representative at all? I could extract two ten-second clips from basically any Behemoth album that would be completely misleading to listeners. Don't believe me? Imagine this: It's early 2004, and the first 15 seconds of "Sculpting the Throne ov Seth" and "Demigod" are published, with a short note: Behemoth have recorded an acoustic album. Imagine the outcry!
