Indonesian avant-garde metal band Kekal has released the first track from their upcoming 2018 album, Deeper Underground. "The Root of All Evil" is available in digital audio platforms for download and streaming. More tracks will be released this year and until 2018, one at a time, as they become available.

Here is how the band desribes "The Root of All Evil": "Clocking at six and a half minutes, 'Root of All Evil' serves as the album's opening track, displaying its emotional build-up momentum that is important to set the starting pace of the whole album and to deliver its raw, angry atmosphere with straight-forward lyrics."
