italian death metal rules!!

I was so very excited to get Dark Lunacy's newest CD after such masterpieces such as "Forget-Me-Not" and "Devoid." Therefore, I ordered it from their main site to ensure they gain optimum profit. I was so excited I couldn't wait to get it in the mail so I downloaded it...

Only to find that I was strongly displeased with this release! They lost all creativity for a decently catchy in flames impersonation. Their style was much more melodic and impressive. It seems they even scraped most of their symphonic for a plastic death metal approach.

Well the product isn't all-bad. What we have left with Dark Lunacy's new CD is very catchy Death Metal. Nothing superb, but it does have pretty well rounded sound. Some of the songs are very passionate though. My ultimate decision not to purchase this CD was its sound quality. This is overly quiet and not as loud as the old CDs just as Dimmu Borgir did with "Death Cult Armageddon."

Finally, I rate the CD 7.8 out of 10
