Hi there !

The release of the new opus from Dimmu Borgir (no comment) made me want to listen to some good symphonic black metal bands such as old Dimmu, Dark Fortress, Septicflesh, Erimha even though some people may argue about my definition of symphonic black metal. Anyway I'm looking for great bands mixing black metal and orchestral melodies. Should I say that I have almost all Cradle Of Filth albums ? All suggestions are welcome, thank you !

Graveworm (definitly check out their cover of Fear Of The Dark), Obtained Enslavement, Emperor, Shade Empire, Abigail Williams (1st album, others were more atmo than symph), Enid, Antestor, Bal-Sagoth, Carach Angren, Some Chthonic albums (Relentless Recurrence and Seediq Bale), Obsidian Gate, The Kovenant's earlier albums, Opera IX, Litrosis, Saille. Latter Summoning, Sigh's Hangman's Hymn, first Arcturus album and Saturnian might count, too.
