Emperor - Confirmed For Mystic Festival 2019


After reuniting to play shows in 2017 and 2018, black metal legends Emperor continue to announce new shows from time to time. Next year, you will be able see them at the Mystic Festival 2019 in Krakow, Poland.

The festival announced: "Back in 1999, Norwegian band Emperor was the first ever headliner of the first ever Mystic Festival. The tape In The Nightside Eclipse was also the first official release of Mystic Production. Now, 20 years later, Emperor official returns to Mystic Festival 2019."

No. Although, if you formulated your viewpoints in a coherent matter from the start there would be no need for clarification.

That said, it seems quite impressive to me that a band can draw a crowd solely off of the legacy of 4 albums released two decades ago. It's preferable to bands that keep churning out album after album of uninspired crap that no one wants to hear played live. So I don't see how it's embarassing for a festival to book such a band when the opportunity arrives.
