Manowar - Announce Karl Logan's Replacement For Live Shows

Following Karl Logan's troubles with the law because of child pornography charges, Manowar have announced that guitarist E.V. Martel will join the band on the metal warriors' Final Battle World Tour 2019.

A musician since the age of 8 and devoted Manowar fan, E.V. lives the life of true metal and the music of Manowar. He has performed for years in the only official Manowar tribute band in the world. E.V. is proud to know every song Manowar have ever recorded, and his style is a mix of all the previous guitarists of the band combined with his own metallic burning.

"I can think of no one more deserving to play with Manowar than a fan themselves; one who has dedicated their entire life to our fans and our music and who has proven to be a true Manowarrior!" said bassist Joey DeMaio.

"I am honored beyond words to play for the greatest fans in the world!" said E.V. "I live by Manowar's message every day of my life: Believe in yourself and even your wildest dreams can come true!"

Manowar's Final Battle World Tour 2019 will kick off on February 25th, 2019 in Tel Aviv, Israel and will span over 28 cities; from Siberian Russia to Germany, Scandinavia and Birmingham, England to the far west of France.

I don't know.. maybe it would've been a better idea to first announce the official dismissal of Logan from the band?

I don't think they have fired him from the band. They replaced him for the live performances only.

They tweeted back in October:
"With regard to Karl Logan's arrest and the charges against him: Due to the fact that Karl and his attorneys are dealing with these issues, he will not perform with MANOWAR. The new album and upcoming tour will not be affected."

I guess they think he's innocent until proven guilty.

What is extremely bizarre though and I just noticed while searching for a reply to give you is that they talk about a new album. What the fuck? Isn't this supposed to be a farewell tour? There's going to be a new album after the bloody farewell tour? I can't decide which is worse: a new Manowar album or yet another farewell world tour to support it.

Wow, this must feel like an unimaginable honor for this E.V. Martel person.

I don't even like Manowar but kind of feel happy for the guy. Must be a literal 'dream come true' sort of situation that I can only begin to imagine.
