One of the first Lithuanian metal bands, Katedra, announced that they are splitting up. Tha band, formed far back in 1986, confirmed their appearance at Kilkim ?aibu festival this coming June, choosing to be their farewell concert.

Statement from the organizers of the festival: "The predecessors of Lithuanian metal Katedra are laying down their arms. The band chose Kilkim ?aibu stage for their last show. No wailing, pompous fireworks or special guests. Only metal hymns from the entire period of the band's existence. We will see the band as it has been for the last decades. It's the last chance to sing along with Katedra - "Mes jėga"!"
