Mastodon's new single "Fallen Torches" has been launched today. It features Neurosis' Scott Kelly and arrives ahead of the band's compilation music effort, titled Medium Rarities, due on September 11th.

That breakdown right around the 4:00 mark is uncharacteristic of their newest material but I dig the shit out of it. Pretty decent track otherwise, makes me wonder when we will see a new album...
