Vio-lence - To Enter Studio In Early 2021
In a recent interview with 'Underground Voice', Vio-lence guitarist Phil Demmel revealed that the band will likely enter the studio early next year to commence recording their upcoming five-song EP. Tentatively due for release sometime in 2021 via Metal Blade, the EP will be Vio-lence's first set of new material in nearly three decades, and the first to feature new guitarist Bobby Gustafson (ex-Overkill) and bassist Christian Olde Wolbers (ex-Fear Factory), replacing Robb Flynn and Deen Dell respectively.
Demmel had this to say: "I'm pretty excited about it. It's fast, the songs are hard to play. Sean sounds so great. Perry's playing crazy, like Animal back there, and the riffs are hard; I'm pushing myself with the riffs. I don't want you to just be able to pick up a guitar and play the riff, I want it to be pretty tough. Four songs are ready. We'll probably start recording in a couple of months, maybe, and get it out next year."
