Ah yes, one of my all-time favorite bands, one of the first metal bands I listened to, and I still enjoy listening to them after all these years. When I was younger, I listened to all their music I downloaded, but on my 16th birthday, I received their "Reign In Blood" CD, and when I popped it into my stereo, it was an experience I could never forget.

Saw 'em live earlier this year with Mortal Sin and Crapadon. They sounded fantastic. Of course, not much of a show.

The last time I saw Slayer live was back in 1998 during their Diabolus tour...the last band I was in did a lot of cover songs from them: Seasons In The Abyss and Mandatory Suicide for example...

I'm jealous.. I'd love to see them live it's like a dream
Hopefully I'll be able to see them the next time they tour (if) near me..

Next time they play live, less new shit, more old shit!

too bad they never play songs like: Necrophobic, Crypts Of Eternity and Final Command for example. would love to hear those live

I only wish I could hear them play The Antichrist live.

Antichrist would be killer to see live as well. but I would rather see Crionics and Tormentor plus final command as I mentioned before.

why do people think they are so amazing live, i heard they never talk at all with the crowd, i'd surely not like that at all. they play great live though, it's like their songs were specifically designed for people to mosh and headbang to.

And why bands have to talk on stage? I pay to see them and hear their musics, I couldn't care less about some stories(whatever) they tell. Slayer go up there, do what they do best(thrashing the place around, one ot two words said) and leave! I like it!

Yeah cult is a nice song, i like a few others on there like catalyst as well.

I just got into metal so to be honest i've never seen a major band live lol. Any recomendations on Slayer dvds? I'm thinking of getting one to see how they are live.

Decade of Aggression is a good live cd
but I dont collect dvds, so cant help you with that
