This is streaming for a few days on the labels page. It’s really good too, I can’t stop listening to it. It’s runtime is pretty long but if you have the time to listen in one sitting it’s one of the most epic albums of the year.

It has an interesting and powerful concept and theme, and definitely has some epic ambient moments, but I also find it needs a lot of time to sink in properly due to it's lengthy runtime. Good release though.

Love the ambient parts of this album, the black metal's not necessarily amazing but it works well enough alongside the soft atmospheric passages

The debut was one of my favorite BM albums from that year. Very curious to see how this one goes down, especially as they’re now going from 3 tracks to 7

Edit: Yup, tis pretty damn good once again. No issue at all with going for more tracks, everything still feels pretty well spaced out and not too condensed. I too love the ambient parts but what really sells this (and the debut) is the band’s pacing between that and the raging black metal sound

Pretty much my exact thoughts on this. The ambient parts are even more ambient and the black metal is more intense than on the previous one.

This album definitely gets better with more spins. I’m pretty impressed. Somewhere between 8 and 9 material but I’m honestly starting to lean closer to 9
