"Replika" is the third studio album from the Industrial band Division Alpha. The French duet created a story about Psykron, a city of the future where humans and machines cohabit. This is a concept album in four CDs and we have here the third chapter of this futurist cyber punk story.

"Replika" is an album of pure Industrial Metal. If you are a fan of this kind of music, you'll be dazzled by this excellent album. These French bands know how to do good things in this metal style. Slow tempo and very dark ambience are common, all the tracks are very tortured and the machine sounds are excellent and they totally fit with this futuristic story. Keep in mind that "Replika" is a pure Indus album so electronic sounds are dominant.

The production is good, the sound is really correct. This concept album has a real good artwork, in the pure style of cyber punk. Nothing else to say about that.

There are not many bad points concerning "Replika" but maybe this music is too special to interest all metal lovers and it is also not very easy to listen to. A lot of "pure" metalheads will not be attracted because they cherish a lot of technical guitar solos and so forth. On the other hand, for some people this album could be very interesting and for others very? uninteresting. But one thing is sure, this album is original, because we don't have a lot of these productions every day. And I think it's a real good point to bring something new to the scene.

Well, if you like Indus you can buy this album because it is a real achievement. For others who are not particularly into Indus metal, you can try it but if you crave for pure classic metal, I'm not sure that you would like that one. But, just see by yourself and I'm sure that some guys will agree with me in finding "Replika" a very good album. A good production in pure Industrial style, not necessary original for an Indus album, but the good compositions of these two French musicians are here to show us that Indus music can be very interesting.
