Jisgore Terror is a Grind Core combo from Sweden. The great thing with this band is that first, all the members come from bands Grind bands like General Surgery or Birdflesh for example and secondly: of course, they know how to play such music !!! Theys wanted to do a project to play something in the vein of the old school bands like Repulsion or Terrorizer, and really they did it. With a music more than pleasant, this first album "World End Carnage ", could become a really interesting investment, for all the fans of Grind Core and Death Metal.

I must admit it, in general I find Grind Core a bit boring; don't ask me why I don't know why? [but it certainly come from the brutality [only to have brutality?] of the tracks and the really great "big" length of these tracks [hum?]]. But I'm a fan of Death Metal and with Jisgore Terror I have the feeling that we are not really into Grind but between this two styles of music, and really that's great.
Of course all the tracks of this album are brutal? Pure aggressiveness in the guitars with great Death solos [even if we can't find a lot of its unfortunately] and really goof riffs, but also, of course, some thundering drums with a tempo which come from Hell? The music of Jisgore Terror really sound "old school", but for a try they did what they wanted to do and in my opinion that's the great thing of "World End Carnage ". I don't say that old school music is the best etc, but really here we have the proof that this kind of sound isn't dead? at the opposite?
The production of the album isn't the best unfortunately well that's not bad but not great and the album suffer of the problem that I find with all the albums of Grind, the length? 35 mins 15 tracks? ouch? Sorry again but? no thank for me? Plus that's a shame because the songs are really good then why not a bit longer
But anyway even if it could be boring for some people, this album is this kind of stuff we can catch you even if you aren't into this music, and I find that really good. It show us that the band just play something good nothing more?

"World End Carnage " the first album of Jisgore Terror is a real success for the band. They didn't do something new, but something just good., and we just want that? If you like this kind of music, please have a look on a band which deserve to be know.

Since the early 80´s when grindcore masters Napalm Death and Carcass gave us some first class grindcore, it seems to be that this genre is going downwards by every year that passes by. Now it seems to be that grindcore have turned into a battle of which band that can be the sickest and most gruesome, and quality/mature grindcore is not what you find everyday. There have been a few good acts, like Nasum, Terrorizer, Mortician and a couple of others, but now, you can add Jigsore Terror to that list.
