Maybe that you think that you already know Sudden Death, because this name is not totally uncomon. But be careful, in fact there is already a lot of Sudden Death, and today we will only listen to this new one which come from Italy. "Injection Of Hate", their first release is a real album made in steel and anger, yeah this is Brutal Death Metal, something really near of Grind core, something for the fans of extreme music. And if you like that? you should keep an eye on this band?

"Injection Of Hate" is brutal, evidently when you know that the band plays Brutal Death you can't expect something "sweet" and "nice", this is not a real surprise, but the question with this kind of album is always the same, is it something good, interesting and especially original? Well Sudden Death is in my opinion a good band of Brutal Death, not really original, they don't plays something which will become a rebirth of the style, but at least that's well done and very professional for a first album. Plus, the 2 styles of the vocals of the singer are a really good point, in fact with Sudden Death, you have a big very loud voice in the true Death vocal spirit but also a very high and aggressive one in the pure Grind Core spirit. This combination of these two voices is the original point of the album, and I think that the band will have to follow this way. Musically on the other hand that's really classic, hyper violent with fast riffs, and technical solos sometime and with a drummer who plays like a real machine, and this impressive musician is for me the other attractive point of the CD. Of course don't worry, all the others guys are good, and evidently the songs of "Injection Of Hate" are all very promising (even if this album is a bit short for me).
The production of the album is also ok, when I listen to the album and when I check the artwork and the booklet, I can only say that the band tried to do something very professional, and this kind of process is the only good one when you want to find a good label and want to catch some fans. This professional work will pay; I have no doubts on it?

"Injection Of Hate" is not a revolution of the style, but however this album is a good start, and if you like this kind of music, you should try to discover the music of this young Italian band. For sure it could be a nice surprise, because there is a lot of potentiality, that's easy to see it, with the Sudden Death "from Italy". A promising start?
