01. Powerplay
02. New Life
03. Mirror

Suomi Power, a sentence and genre that makes many Metal Heads shake their heads. This special kind of Power has taken the world with storm and is today a serious challenger to the German Power, about the Throne of Power!
If they already beaten German or not, won't I even speculate in right now, because I'm going to focus my last lines on the new single of the band Dreamtale, that's from Finland and plays Suomi Power.

Never heard of them? Well, they aren't the biggest band from Finland, but they have released 2 albums and they have a new one ("Difference") on their way.
But first they're giving us a 3 track Single to suck on until the album is going to be released.
The tracks are, first the Bonus of the forthcoming album, "Powerplay", and 2 tracks that's going to be featured on the regular "Difference", "New Life" and "Mirror".

New for this releases you have the singer, Jarkko Ahola and guitarist Mikko Mattila.
And a new singer means that they has 3 different singer for their 3 albums, pretty dangerous if you ask me, peoples has a strange way to turn their backs on a band if they lose a member or two.

But anyway, let's look closer on the three tracks, first out is the track "Powerplay", that's a pretty strange tune, it's very up-tempo and it has this "dunk-dunk" sound that's more suitable for Techno or something.
But in some strange way this song is really good.

Second we have "New Life", a very usual Power Metal tune in almost mid-tempo with just faster parts. It's not that catchy, even if I think the song is very good arranged. But it's not the best.

Third and last we have "Mirror" that's going to be on the new album "Difference" exactly as the one before.
"Mirror" is the slowest and got a "sad" touch in the lyrics and the vocals. A very good tune, and with these three songs I'm really looking forward to hear "Difference".

And before I end I think I should add a couple of lines about the new singer, Ahola. For all of you that heard their past albums and like the vocals, well I don't think you should worry that much, Ahola is different from Keränen and Viiltola, but he is a surprisingly good singer and got much emotions in his voice.

If you heard and like Dreamtale, well get the new album when it comes out, and if you can't wait, well then you have this single "Wellon" to quench your thirst with.
If you never heard Dreamtale but loves Finnish Power, don't hesitate, buy this single together with any of their past two albums now and find out if it's something for you.

Check Out: "Powerplay" & "Mirror".
