My "Final Selection" for 2010. Top 10 in order. The Rest for A-Z.
As a big fan of Power and Folk metal, this year was quiet good. The return of Rhapsody, new actors as Ancient Bards, Sinbreed, great comeback - Accept, Masterplan with Jorn, long awaited albums - Orphaned Land, Blind Guardian and Alcest. Some discoveries - Finsterforst, Skiltron, Pretty Maids (shame on me)and Orden Ogan. Some unexpected suprises Black Majesty, Iron Fire. Not to say that many bands didnt disappoint me with their new album - Derdian, Freedom Call, Eluvetie, Galneyrus, Wuthering Heights. Good year, a little bit above the average

Blind Guardian - At The Edge Of Time
Rating : 10 Best Power Album for 2010, The Bards are still at the top with epic songs, great mediaval ballads and powerful chorus.

Rating : 10 Power/Sympho from Poland, first album.

Freedom Call - Legend Of The Shadowking
Rating 10 : Great one, my favorite from Freedom Call

Derdian - New Era Pt. 3 - The Apocalypse
Rating 9 : Great follow-up from Part2, it's not as catchy as the last one, but more mature.

Rhapsody Of Fire - The Frozen Tears Of Angels
Rating 9 : The come back but darker as usual

Ancient Bards - The Alliance Of The Kings
Rating 9 : Rhapsody with a female voice, and a good one.

James LaBrie - Static Impulse
Rating 9 : Good album with death and clean vocals, a bit surprising coming from James
