Probably my favorite album of all time, filled with amazing tracks. Absolute Masterpiece!

A really good prog/hard rock album. However, some of the dynamic shifts and harder-hitting moments, that made their music so appealing, are missing from the record.

Although not as strong as their previous (and follow-up) work, still a good record, with a bit more bite and power than on Pale Communion (but overall not as strong as that album).

More black metal inspired, with some good proggy passages. Not my cup of tea, but it is still a pretty good record.

A raw, extreme debut. A lot of black metal elements and interesting ideas that don't really come together. Still pretty good though.

It's good. It's just really disappointing considering the progression of the band up to this point. The follow-up albums in this stile would improve on this formula, thank god.
