This is power metal with a bit of 'extreme' power metal and melodeath thrown in from time to time, and it would seem to work quite well, as this is probably the power metal album that I've enjoyed the most in the past few years

It's an alright release, but nothing I haven't already heard before, it's kind of your typical extreme power metal album really, and nothing I haven't already heard before, with it's heroic inspired songwriting, strong melodies, and epic sounding symphonies, there's nothing here I would call majestic unfortunately.

They have ballad parts which very much sound Blind Guardian inspired, and the extreme sections have an obvious Wintersun vibe to them, but I don't think we will hear from anything by Wintersun anytime soon, so I guess bands like this will have to do for now.
