In all honesty this has to be one of the worst releases I've heard this year. The songwriting and lyrics are generally poor, and it lacks melody and any proper songstructures. The vocals are terrible imo, they sound so artificial and mainstream. They do have plenty of energy and drive though, so I will give them that.

Well I seem to go against the current here but this is definitely one of my favourite metalcore releases of the recent years. Where my previous favs let me down heavily with Architects doing whatever (is it still music ?) and Parkway Drive being softer and softer, I enjoyed the energy in this one greatly. It is punchy, the choruses and clean vocals aren't too cheesy, the electronics are well included in the mix and don't feel disjointed like in many other albums in that genre. Motionless in White has made a spot in my regulars since this album came out.
