If you have read the Bible then you would have surely come across Sodom and Gommorah, two cities which were famous or rather infamous for the wickedness of it's inhabitants. If you have not read the Bible but still you are a Metalhead then you must have surely heard of the Biblical Sodom's Thrash Metal counterpart - Sodom, which is as much notorious for it's music and Agent Orange was the high-point in this band's resume and it is the most successful Thrash album ever released by any German band and has, till date, sold over 100,000 copies worldwide.

Hmm...I find this album slightly overrated! (puts flame suit on) I prefer Better Off Dead myself, and some of the later albums, like Code Red. The title track, Tired And Red, and Exhibition Bout though, are absloute classic thrash songs though, and among Sodom's best! Frank Blackfire was just what the band needed at that point. This album, and Persecution Mania were far superior to what came before them! xD

My leaast favorite aspect is the constant changes in speed...

It gives you time to bob your head for a minute before wrecking your neck again.

I feel they're kind of uninspired. Like they lack the thrashing energy that would make you headbang like crazy.

Overrated but even very good
agent orange(song) sounds a little bit like death squad from sacred reich

A little bit? Its exactly the same riff, the intro to that song is a slightly modified version of 'In My Darkest Hour' (Megadeth). They imitated many other riffs from other bands too.

I've stopped listening to a lot of old school thrash but some albums like this and mostly Slayer's back catalog still get some attention. Too good to forget about.

What a classic! Best Teutonic thrash I am aware of. The Tank cover falls a bit out of range here. Exhibition Bout probably dispensable, Incest maybe too. Other than that, masterpiece (in particular the title track). Somewhere aoround 9.0 for me.

You are not metal enough until you visit Kenya. The cradle of mankind, where man learnt first to work with stones and first enjoyed the sounds produced by banging stones which later influenced metal in all its sounds and genres.

I first found this pretty boring. But now I find it quite good It grows on me. The guitar sound is pretty excellent

My favorites are "Magic Dragon", "Agent Orange", "Tired and Red", and "Remember the Fallen". "Baptism of Fire" is also good

Perhaps slightly overrated, but on MS it's rightfully below Beneath the Remains and Altars of Madness for 1989

This is a total flipping onslaught of ferocious speedy riffs and pure in your face non-stop aggression! One of the best thrash metal albums ever made, period! "Remember The Fallen", "Magic Dragon", Agent Orange", and "Tired And Red" are the highlights for me.

Oh yeah this album sounds surprisingly great after a long time away from it. One moment it sounds almost bay area style thrash, then after like blackened thrash and vice versa, and the occasional but rare punk influences are welcome addition too.

Not quite get the appeal of this record as it sounds pretty derivative. Magic Dragon has the best gallop riff ever.
