This is the first release of the Swedish Gothic Doom Metallers. And it's a bit different to their upcoming releases; here you can hear that they originate from the Death Metal scene. Brennare haven't really develop his voice to what is shall be on their upcoming releases. But I don't think that the voice Brennare use on later Lake of Tears albums should fit as nicely in to this album as the voice he has here. Read more ›› |

I know this band long time but more gothic/doom stuff, so I didnt know what to expect in this album, since its more death/doom and not as band lateher works, good one, old school sound, good lyrics specely songs Eyes Of The Sky and Upon The Highest mountains.... I will stick whit whole bands discography in next weeks , but this maybe most underated bands album , old school death/doom fans would like it but whit clean vocals, not growls what I like most into this one
---- I stand whit Ukraine and Israel. They have right to defend own citizens. Stormtroopers of Death - "Speak English or Die"  I better die, because I never will learn speek english, so I choose dieing

Upon The Highest Mountain is a masterpiece. Evil inside is also good. The rest is mediocre IMO. Edit: Well, I guess I was a bit too harsh here. Had a relisten after quite some time today. As Daylight Yields and Netherworld are also quite good. Some 7.3 overall for me. Edit (  ): ...and the other songs are also better than mediocre.So I might even end up with an 8 here one day. On one day: Yeah, extremely underrated by myself initially. What a great album, throughout.
