Polished new school tech death, even with more of a core leaning, might be a sound that's already quite saturated, but there's still enough that's unique about Entheos sound for them to leave a mark.

I've known the name Entheos for a while but this is my first time listening to them; I like it, perhaps unsurprisingly. There's quite a few moments that remind me of The Faceless (I saw somewhere that Evan Brewer was involved here, so that would make sense), but also both goes more deathcorey and more full-on prog at different times. Would have gone to review this but thankfully it seems Radu's already claimed it, so that's one less review I need to find time to fit in

It's a really confusing release for me because I absolutely love the style and sound, but the intra-riff cohesion is kinda messed up. "WTH is intra-riff cohesion?" you say? I don't know - I just made it up, but to me it's like: the first half of a riff is super juicy, but the band doesn't close it out well, so you get aural blue balling instead. I tried to listen to this twice and still no luck. Looks like I didn't rate the previous album, but I remember that one being quite a bit better.
