This is surprisingly catchy for Déhà. Of the three albums I've listened to he's always seemed to focus on the experimental, and while this has its share of genre blending there's a bit more focus on a specific atmosphere and song cohesion than what I've heard from him before.

On a side note, it's wild how versatile (and prolific) Déhà is; this album, Ave Maria II, and last year's Decadanse (which was a highlight for me) are all completely different listening experiences from what I remember. I want to say Déhà is one of the more consistently interesting one-man band acts, but considering how many records he releases in a year (6 in 2022, 10 in 2021, 15 in 2020) I don't know how accurate that would be.
