What is this prod (on the first song) ? It tries to be Battle Beast maybe, modern and somewhat electro, but everything sounds so cheap. Doro gets swallowed by the wall of sound and lacks power (well obviously she's old but on track #3 Halford is doing better).

Next songs are more traditionnal heavy, but sound cheap too (thin guitar tone, badly chosen reverbs, pumping compressed mix). The vocals trying to bring some energy really lack the capacity to do it. Well it's no surprise, it been a while that Doro only releases mandatory albums to milk the fans, and as a Warlock fan it's disappointing. But bringing out Battle Beast and Nuclear Blast, they could at least try to make it sound like something. Some of the songs could have been good. I guess previous records were on the same line. You just have to watch the cover art and the music is the same.

Intrigued by the Bonnie Tyler cover. Well obviously it's pale compared to the original, but maybe funny to listen to. Once again Halford does better than Doro.

Good album has own elements, good written, cool songs, but it's 15 minutes to long and Doro still has some German accent in few songs.

I like it, I like her way to sing,

Uneven, cliché in places. he highs are high and the lows are low
Surprised how enjoyable I thought the Bonnie Tyler cover was.
