High Fist Prog
Something about the clean vocals and non-distorted instrumentation on this record really put me off; almost as if they forgot how to write melodies (I know that sounds harsh). Their forte is clearly the heavier parts (to me), but on this release they focused too much on meandering clean passages which feel...unresolved almost all of the time. Tried two spins to see if it was just an initial disappointment, but unfortunately I feel the same. Shame as I was really expecting their follow-up to be massive.
