Their previous release was quite highly rated for a modern death metal record, so I'll have to give this a shot after giving the first a spin.

Edit: Exactly on par with their previous release. Pretty solid heavy OSDM, with a tremendous guitar tone and excellent sound quality, but there's nothing all that special about the songwriting, and there's way too much emphasis on the solos. I like the eerie atmospheric synth work, especially on the final track, but there's just not enough of it imo.

Yes, OSDM, a bit doomy. It's rather an atmospheric experience you can delve into, if you don't get fed up by the subpar melodies of uninspired tremolo riffs.

Finally i gave this a spin today, and yep its really impressive, needs few more spins though, too much going on for a first listen

The vocals on this are sick and chilling plus the atmosphere is undeniable. Charnel Passages is the best track out of these but others are good too.
