Satch is easily my favorite guitarist; he was also my first concert. Killer stuff right here; his best album.

One of the best records of Satch, in my opinion. The title track and "Always With Me, Always With You" are my favourites.

One of my favourite instrumental albums. Satriani is a guitar genius! 9.1/10 for me - Surfing With The Alien and Always With Me, Always With You are the best tracks IMO (Ice 9 is almost as good). Satch Boogie, Hill Of The Skull, Circles, and Midnight are also great.

One of the greatest guitarists of all time, if not the best. Satriani, much like John Petrucci, was such an idol to me in my early stages of learning guitar, it's always a nice experience to go back and listen to or play his music. Best tracks include "Always With Me, Always With You", "Satch Boogie", "Surfing With the Alien" and "Crushing Day". They are all timeless pieces of instrumental guitar music, remaining some of my favourite songs of the style to his day. Petrucci managed to recreate some of this hype with his latest album, instrumental guitar music will always be something I have a soft spot for.
