It's a shame when great bands go away almost unnoticed, after only a few works that, ultimately, didn't get enough exposure to the community. This is not an uncommon situation in Doom Metal, that, despite its strong legion of fans, is understandably a style rarely associated with famous bands. But it saddens me when I pick an album by talents like Morgion, that their potential has never been fully recognized. But it's there, in "Solinari" and "Cloaked By Ages, Crowned In Earth" for all to hear, and even their debut, this "Among Majestic Ruin" was already fascinating. Read more ›› |

Holy shiiiii, what is this!  How did I not listen to this excellent, raw old-school death doom gem any earlier than now?! Short album, thus it can be spun from beginning to end, no fillers. What a journey! I am stunned. Highlights: In ashen tears and Travesty.

What a epic blast, where is doom? where is dead, is it mixed, yes it is, good, mournful mid 90's piece. Growls, spoken passages, I miss those things, that atmosphere, good deep, poetic lyrics . No internet in those times, so band simply need do all things them selves, cant communicate and be inspirited so easy in those days.
