01. Cut Their Grain And Place Fire Therein 02. Dead As Dreams 03. This Entire Fucking Battlefield 04. No One Can Be Called As A Man While He'll Die 05. Disasters In The Sun
Weakling are one of the most important bands in the United States Black metal scene. Dead As Dreams, their post-mortem debut album, is both emotionally riveting and intensely raw. And although it is hard to get because of its limited release, with five songs clocking in over 75 minutes, it's worth every penny!
Weakling's main characteristic is their frequent juxtaposing of galloping and droning riffs. They run off into a blood-hungry battlefield-riff just as easy as they dwell in drawn-out multi-layered drones. But there's more.
Dead As Dreams is one of the best USBM albums around. Weakling offers the listener seventy-five minutes of raging Black metal with cutting-edge song writing and epic song structures. It's diverse, heart-wrenching and driven; don't miss out if you ever bump into this hard-to-find gem!
Absolutely awesome , Epic bleak intense black and foggy. Essential BM

One long freaking black metal album, but darn my socks if it doesn't keep you entertained.
I finally own a physical CD of it. But how can I tell which version it is? No years are printed on the sleeve...
They only released it twice in CD-format so you can look if there are any codes to identify it. Compare them to the ones found here and here.

I heard the first editions of the CD were buried in places all over Washington and the treasure maps were given to a select few. Makes me wonder how Fox got his copy.
I don't know if this was recommended before but still, there used to be a band called Dead As Dreams, they only managed to release an EP which contains just one song over 24 minutes. I think you'll enjoy it a lot if you love Weakling.
