Industrial Metal is one of those genres that most Metalheads Hate, Lately I've been listening a lot this particular genre to actually know why's that, well yes most Industrial bands are simplistic, boring, tedious, and every insulting term you can think, but in my industrial journey I've found bands such as Static-X, American Head Charge and Ministry which are actually very good, and now this time I am hearing a German band called Rammstein, so this is what I got from their album Mutter.

Their best by a mile. Easily their most consistent album and the one with the most standout songs. I'm not sure what was happening with the band in 2001, but they captured something great on this album!

9.2/10 for me - 'Sonne' is the standout track. 'Mein Herz Brennt', 'Links 2 3 4', 'Ich Will', 'Feuer Frei!' and 'Zwitter' are all also fantastic.

Such a great sounding, and wonderfully crafted album, and it flows really well, with no real weak songs. Obviously there is a language barrier when it comes to understanding the lyrics, but there are ways of getting around that. This album was also another major one when I was growing up. Quite alot of metalheads my age group often talked about this album, and Rammstein, I would ask if the language barrier was an issue, they would simply say not at all.

Woah, that was actually solid. First song is excellent, I actually had to double-check that I was listening to the Rammstein I know. I still think their mid-tempo songs are fricking awful ("Du Hast" yes I know that song isn't on this album), but their slower, heavier songs are kind good. There's another one here, but I can't be bothered listening again to find out (It has a call and response in the verse between a vocal line and a heavy riff, doubled by synth).

You might like Puppe from their self titled album. Reise Reise has some good ones too like Mein Teil and Morgenstern Stein Um Stein and Ohne Dich. Rosenrot is their slowest album really and some underrated tracks likw Benzin Spring and Wo Bist Du. Also their last album Zeit is a bit slower. For me the best song is Angst on that album. Till Lindemann also has a solo album coming out called Zunge. There's also a music video that came out for the single Zunge.
