A Fair Dream Gone Mad is one heck of a progressive metal album, debut or not. Did that just get your attention? Not convinced? Well, you won't be expecting many of the clichés of this sub-genre here, nor references to Dream Theater, Riverside, Fates Warning and such.

Whoa! Where did this come from?!

What In The Silence have managed to achieve with this, their self-financed & independently released debut is nothing short of remarkable. The beautiful yet haunting atmosphere, intricate songwriting & talented musicianship displayed throughout this album will leave you spellbound. This may well just be one of the best debut albums of the year. A must for all fans of progressive metal.

Go check them out.

This album is fantastic a shame that this band has not worked on a new album for a long time, hopefully they are not from those bands that release only 1 album and then are forgotten because A Fair Dream Gone Mad was good.

They released a new track quite recently, but I guess you already know why things aren't moving forward right now.

Makes me wonder.

I heard there's this pandemic going on, maybe it has something to do with it.

it's not what i meant
When this album was released, I remember it was received well, so I wished for a followed up album which never happened (I'm thinking before the pandemic).
Even with the pandemic, some bands managed to release music. So...
