Well, this one is a step forward, miles ahead compared to Shadowmaker. As good as maybe The Rivalry or Masquerade.

Better than Shadowmaker, but that doesn't require much.. In overall I'd say Resilient is a bit weaker than Victory, Brotherhood and Rogues En Vogue when it comes to songwriting. "Soldiers of Fortune", "The Drift" and "Bloody Island" truly are notable songs but rest of the songs are quite dispensable.

But this is obviously still a great album. I got really happy when I heard it the first time, as I realized Running Wild had returned to a style I could appreciate a lot more.

Sounds a lot more like a Running WIld record than Shadowmaker. At times this one hits the right spots (The Drift, Bloody Island, FIreheart) and riffing wise it's pretty cool overall. Don't love it, don't hate it.
