This makes me feel dirty. Great album. Probably my favorite from 2014 so far.

Is it just me or does that opening riff on Disambiguation sound like some Corrupted worship?

Just not feeling it.
Not enough pop punk, probably.

I like their previous a lot, but this doesn't click with me.

Really? Because I feel like this is a step up from their previous efforts in every regard, especially the production. Oh damn that production is sexy. The bass in Rhetoric of No makes me jizz everywhere. Also the clear-green vinyl I got has already been played about 5 times (I got it 2 days ago.

Oh my, my ears are ringing. Friend called me to say something and I walked past by like guy on drugs or something.
No seriously, it's step-down from "Guiltless" and engaging in more noizy stuff doesn't make the album stand out. We know Indian are "opposite listening" to but seriously I have heard much noiser stuff to what they did in this record.

Finally got round to it. Well, I like it but I'm afraid I don't love it (sorry Alex). I really like the tone and the crushing nature of the sound, but the songs are a little one-track minded. They do something but then they tend to stick with it for the rest of the track. I think the album needed a few more 'Disambiguation' like tracks which has a bit of variety. Maybe I've just been spoiled by Lord Mantis.

I suppose I should get on Coffinworm now. I'm a bit hesitant as the one song I've heard lacked a lot of what I liked from the previous release.

BAH.
I really like Indian and can't wait to see them at Roadburn but seriously... Lord Mantis, Dragged Into Sunlight and Alkerdeel are the triology that owns any other ugly type of sludge around. No match.

It's certainly a tad different than earlier Coffinworm, but I view it as more of a nice continuation/development in their sound

This album is relentless. Pretty simple formula, but it hits you harder than a Buick LeMans with no brakes on the 401.
