I think (actually I'm sure) this record is better than Dismember's debut. Inspiration, songwriting ... all this surpasses that album named "classic".

Just get hold of the Cnetury Media release from 2012 (I think) called ''Within the Shadow of Darkness - The Complete Recordings'' which includes everything they everything they ever recorded. A damn fine release with great liner notes. Worth its money. The vinyl version comes with a double cd of it all.

Old schoool DM marathonn!!!! This album has a fantastic gothic vibe I rarely find in this kind of metal. It reminds me a little bit of Paradise Lost's second album but this one is obviously superior in all aspects.
