This will have been the most beautiful prog album you've listened so far this year. I know I've used this kind of catch-line before but the latest album from this Norwegian band just demands it. It is well thought-through and detailed, dark and melancholic. Excellence of this album cannot be denied. It is simply magnificent from the very beginning to the very end. Not sure, whether I like Demon more than the previous releases of Gazpacho, but it sounds interesting. Reminds me a lot of classic prog rock of 70's and 80's. My favourite track is I've Been Walking (both parts).

I like the relaxing atmosphere a lot, but overall the album is also a bit boring. Not an album I would revisit often, if ever. The vocals remind me of Matthew Bellamy sometimes, especially on the last track, which to me isn't a good thing since his vocals became annoying to me, even though I used to be a fan of Muse a long time ago (when Origin Of Symmetry was released).
