After Swedish power metal act Hammerfall's less than impressive 2000 release Renegade , the band have rethought their game plan of attack and come up with their fourth release Crimson Thunder. I needet band what I have only one CD so i pick this one , and gave a try before leave to do bussness in skattewerket so seems band liks playing PM and they do it from hearth, this is not bad as other bands who spmply play, even I am not BIG fan of this band, but maybe once in time I can listen

This is the album that got me into Hammerfall, it has lost some of its luster with the years, but I still love some of the songs; Hero's Return, On the Edge of Honour and my favorite Trailblazers.

Pretty fun record even if it rarely really lifts. Songs like The Unforgiven Blade, Crimson Thunder and Riders Of The Storm sounds way better on the One Crimson Night dvd/cd. Dreams Come True is a terrible ballad

This is the first HammerFall album I ever heard somewhere in 2004 and was hooked immediately! Still very catchy and anthemic, but more mid-tempo and with traditional Heavy Metal vibes overall. The coolest songs here for me are "Riders Of The Storm", "The Unforgiving Blade", "On The Edge Of Honour" and the title track. Sadly, this is the last great album that the band has, at least for now.

Only Hammerfall album I can stand - I still listen to a couple of the songs today. Some of the bigger choruses with the choir vocals are pretty awful though.
