I decided to check this album out and yelled 'goddammit' after the first 5 seconds. I'm not writing it off just yet (cause I need to listen to it first ) but I feel the circlejerk that will form around this due to the production.

Edit: Ehh, it was alright. Dancing between a 6 and a 7 on this

Did not care for this album at all. Rod's review was far better than the actual album itself.

It was interesting, but ultimately completely forgettable.

I was well aware of how alone i was going to stand on this one so eh. At least people dig my writing in any case so that's a yey for me and the band gets promotion either way so yey again.

Nope, not at all, I did quite enjoy this one as well and must extend thanks to you because had it not been for this review I probably wouldn't have heard about the band at all. Do not understand the negative reception this is getting among some of "the usual suspects," especially given its similarity to some other experimentally-inclined BM bands we listen to
