It's unique, deep and what I call one of a kind, the voice of vocalist is also damn beautiful.

Okay this is wayyyyyy better than his last two outputs. Still a bit hit or miss, but overall it's a much more captivating listen. I get major Hozier vibes from a lot of the clean songs. The electronic bits remind of Prurient as well. Cool album. Blood In The Water is a phenomenal song.

Are you calling music that is a fusion of American slave music and black metal for cartoon metal? That's a first

I don't know anything about slave music and I definitely don't care about genre labels, but I know this is extremely creative and entertaining music, wacky even, whatever people want to call it.

May I suggest reading the album review we have fetatured. It explains the music.

Yeah, maybe that would be for the best. At least before writing any silly comments like mine here.

Funny enough, I never connected with them either. It amazes me how folks attracts to Z&A while my ears think otherwise. Not a single note is bearable to absorb here.

Honestly this is the only good album they ever put out, before they decided to turn into redundant rebel radio rock.

Couldn't disagree more with Cynic and Monkey there. Fucking amazing band with an absolute masterful discog and this album is simply brilliant, every note is a blessing and may we all revel in the blood of the saints & the blood of the holy. Fucking praise worthy vocal work on there too. Alt metal at its peak. When this came out I probably had it spin a couple hundred times lol... Might be pushing there, but really not that far.
This band also gives one mean show, impressive live delivery and energy. It's tight and emotional. Don't miss out if they get a gig near you. Saw them live as headliners in Montreal alongside Imperial Triumphant & Sylvaine a couple years ago and man, that was one hell of a night!!! I wasn't disappointed, also IT gave a sick show too. Sad that they were only the opening act, I could've watched that weirdness a bit longer lol.
